World music singer-songwriter Sherlee Skai has a unique sound, shaped by multicultural influences from Haitian folklore, American jazz and soul. Combining music, activism and history, the music brings awareness to social injustice and U.S. immigration policies and advocates for more humane and equitable immigrant treatment. Sherlee Skai has graced the stages of Lincoln Center and Harlem Week and has participated in the Haiti Cultural Exchange program, creating music that comes from the heart, filled with creativity, authenticity, and passion.
