Black History is Music History
As we close 2020 and look out into 2021 upcoming holidays and special occasions, Black History Month is a special time to recognize the contributions BIPOC people have made to the American musical landscape. While many never received the accolades or financial benefits their contributions warranted, we revel in the history and promise of artistic talent that is unfettered and knows no bounds. From early Americana string bands to country music, modern classical renderings to ventriloquists extraordinaire, creatives of color continue to inspire, delight, and make history. We invite you to join their celebration.
