The power of Cabaret never fails to thrill. Watching that lone artist stand at a microphone and emote, embody and envelop themselves around a song is its own special kind of magic. I had the pleasure of witnessing this magic during the Mabel Mercer Foundation Cabaret Convention at New York’s Lincoln Center, with an incredible ‘who’s who’ of the cabaret world on stage. The performances were outstanding and well worthy of a second mention!
