Who You Are
Since the murder of George Floyd, the arts industries have responded with calls for and promises of more equity in the presenting and performing fields. Truly the measure of change will be noted not only by the faces we see on stage, but also by those behind it. As artist David Bernard Roumain recently stated, “If you’re a presenter, your SEASON tells us who you are. If you’re a university, your CURRICULUM tells us who you are. If you’re an opera house, your COMMISSIONS tell us who you are. If you’re an orchestra, your PROGRAMMING tells us who you are. If you love Black people, your CHOICES tell us who you are. I love you, so tell me who you are.”
As a 100% BIPOC owned organization created in response to racism and in support of the talent in all peoples, 7/24 TalentMarketing is beyond pleased to provide this resource of available artistic programming for review. Distributed to presenters bimonthly on the last day of the month and housed at PerformingLiveRevue.com, this curated list is designed to raise awareness of the multitudinous programs that exist within diverse communities and provide a forum for their exposure. I hope you enjoy it and find it useful. Please show your support by reading, engaging and booking these wonderful arts programs or contact 7/24 TalentMarketing for more information. Tell the world who you are.
