Charley Pride/Dion Pride

On December 12th, country music lost a true superstar, Mr. Charley Pride. An original trailblazer, Charley Pride’s career spanned more than 50 years and achieved some impressive ‘firsts’: first African American country artist, first African American singer inducted into the Grand Ole Opry, first African American member of the Country Music Hall of Fame, and numerous other accolades accumulated over a lifetime of performing. While this piece of history may no longer be with us, the legacy continues through his son Dion Pride, a country music superstar in his own right. A multi-talented instrumentalist, Dion was a constant companion with his father on tour, performing since age 14 and perfecting his talents. Dion has traveled across the globe sharing his enthusiasm and natural talent to appreciative fans. Do not miss the opportunity to invite Dion Pride to your stage!
