Outrageously Versatile!
Felicia Collins is best known around the world as the guitarist and vocalist in the CBS Orchestra on the LATE SHOW WITH DAVID LETTERMAN / World’s Most Dangerous Band with Paul Shaffer. An outrageously versatile instrumentalist, bandleader, and vocalist, Felicia’s devoted passion for playing guitar was always present, as far back in her memory as she’s able to recall. Teaching herself to play guitar is one manifestation of her childhood love affair with the Arts, a love affair that lead to a career spanning 30 years and counting, playing with a veritable who’s who of musical talent.
Still possessing her ‘take no prisoners’ attitude, Felicia continues to perform across the country with her signature band The Hustle, as well as a Blues Project and a Funk Crew ‘The Throw Down’, who recently wrapped a high-powered electric funk performance of Sly and The Family Stone’s Greatest Hits. Recently recognized as the featured artist for the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame induction ceremony recognizing long-standing musical pioneer Sister Rosetta Tharpe, Felicia delivered a powerhouse performance where her musical power, and prowess, shined through. Catch her LIVE Friday September 20th at Sugar Bar in Manhattan!
