Soul. Power. Presence.
When Aaron Marcellus takes the stage, soul music feels both timeless and immediate. Rooted in Gospel and shaped by jazz and blues influences, his sound carries emotional depth that feels powerful, personal, and undeniably soulful.
Born in Atlanta, Aaron first recorded under Warner Brothers’ Word Records before gaining national recognition as a Top 24 finalist on American Idol. His career has since spanned international touring and prominent New York stages, including a current role in the Off-Broadway hit Stomp.
But at the center of it all is the voice — rich, expressive, and grounded in lived experience. A percussive dancer and musician, Aaron describes himself simply as rhythm and blues — not by genre classification, but by identity.
