Respecting the Roots
While K-pop music has always been influenced by African-American/Black music and culture, K-pop stars Black Swan deliberately pay homage to their multicultural roots by having the first truly diverse lineup of artists. Boasting members from the native Korea, as well as the addition of artists from India, Brazil and Senegal, Black Swan started under another name with musical direction by uber-producer Teddy Riley and have skyrocketed to the stratospheres ever since!
