The Veteran Anthem
A classical and jazz composer and soloist, Operation Iraqi Freedom Veteran Takosha Swan “The Swan”, board member for the Georgia Department of Veterans Service, recorded what she believes will be a new anthem, “The Veteran Anthem: I’m Still Me”, a song that instills the message to America that Veterans are valuable to the country and continue to grow in value after the military. A National Anthem singer for the past 20 years and spouse of a husband who has served for 23 years, “The Swan” is a founding team member of the Georgia Veteran Suicide Prevention program and has dedicated her gifts and talents to serving the military her entire adult life. A symphony performance and military tour are in the works for The Swan, to deliver healing and awareness to Veterans everywhere. Veterans Day is Wednesday November 11.
